105 assassin.....
Well i just started to build my first assassin........... and got beaten to hell.
And i came across this idea (not saying i am the first) and maybe we could work on it to make it work.
The idea is based on the use of 2 mantained entchantments
Aura of displacement : if you stop maintaining it you get teleported to the point where u started the enthchantment.
Protective Bond : Get hit only 5% and loose energy
Well since we can t make a 55 (no cesta on assasins with daggers) assassin with 10% of hits using protective spirit we could make a 105 assasin and using the above enchants (same dmg received 5 per hit)
I think when energy hits 0 in any other build you would be toast but here u just dissapear.
I think we could build something around this and with critical eye and high dagger mastery and high critical hits we should get enough energy to go in stay a while and wreak havoc and have an automatic reset if things go wrong.
What you think.........well now i need comments on everything else.

Really with prot bond up if even 1 person starts hitting you I doubt you will have enough energy to pull off a simple combo!

Agreed. Prot Bond just isn't for the assassin. It's more like something that a monk carries (rarely) in case of an "OH SHIT" emergency like an elly getting swarmed...even then it's only Bonders that usually carry it.

Oh, and AoD doesn't end when your energy hits 0. You just lose 1 pip of energy. You would need 3 more enchantments that you maintain so that AoD drops when your energy hits 0.

Thx for the fast replys and ideas.........
thx bloodie for the advise that AoD will not end........this will change a bit the way to play........i remeber theres a monk spell that strips you off your own enchants and will heal you.
maybe in combination with critical eye and balthazar.....
anyone tested something like a 105 build before???
keep thinking....Happy Dragon Festivalto all!!!1

Yes, I have tested it. The only way to effectly pull it off is to have a constant +5 regen for 1 monster attacking at once per second, or 10 regen for 2 monsters. Seeing as at most you can lower your damage to only 10, it makes it very difficult to make up for larger groups. Not only that, but the assassin servers no benefit of its own by pulling this off because it takes long enough to take out large groups, the only feasable idea would be Death Blossom spam but thats a 12 second recharge. Build will have no use, except a waste of armor and some good entertainment watching your death count skyrocket.

I actually got a 55hp Assasin, and tbh, it works pretty well.
I aint gonna spread my ideas around just yet, but I would like to give some advice.
Its such a shame that there is still so many noob assasin players know how to use them. First of all, assasins are one of the best class on 1 vs 1, and worse class agasint multiple enemy. So therefore there is ABSOLUTLY no point what so ever on using dagger mastery... So focus your attacks on smithing instead, and use high shadow arts and critical skills etc.
Ahh fine, here, use Shadow Form (with standard 55hp equipment to last the enchantment longer) and than you can concentrate on your smiting etc.
Thats all I'm saying right now :P

shadow form = no balths spirit, essence bond, retribution.. so what are you doing to kill? all i can think of is that thing that does fire damage when you use a skill that targets an ally-- but i would assume energy problems...
